Review Meeting Held at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University Ahead of Governor-Led Evaluation Sessions

Lucknow: A high-level review meeting was held at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Prof. K. P. Singh in preparation for the upcoming review meetings to be conducted under the guidance of the Governor and Chancellor of universities, Anandiben Patel.

The meeting took place in the committee hall of the Vice-Chancellor’s office and was attended by Registrar Harish Chand, Controller of Examinations Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Dean Academics Prof. S.K. Pandey, Prof. Vinay Rishiwal, Prof. Bhola Khan, Prof. O.P. Rai, along with principals of affiliated colleges.

During the meeting, Prof. K. P. Singh issued detailed guidelines to college principals regarding preparations for the review meetings scheduled for May 20 and 21, 2026. He instructed all colleges to prepare comprehensive PowerPoint presentations covering several academic and administrative aspects.

The presentations will include a brief introduction of the institution, details of faculties and departments, sanctioned and vacant posts of teaching and non-teaching staff, and student admission statistics categorized faculty-wise, subject-wise, and semester-wise.

Institutions have also been directed to present details related to campus infrastructure, including geo-tagged photographs of classrooms, laboratories, sports grounds, hostels, guest houses, and residential facilities. Information on achievements of teachers and students over the last three years, including book publications, research articles, patents, and research projects, will also be part of the review.

Additional focus areas include cultural activities, Wi-Fi facilities, seminars, webinars, workshops, accreditation status, and geo-tagged photographs of ongoing construction works.

The Vice-Chancellor emphasized that colleges should not function merely as centres of teaching but should also contribute actively towards social upliftment. Referring to the directions of Governor Anandiben Patel, he urged educational institutions to work for the welfare of children, women, and society at large.

He also encouraged colleges to formulate welfare initiatives for economically weaker and underprivileged sections of society. Principals were advised to engage with institutions such as women’s shelters, juvenile homes, old-age homes, and women self-help groups to promote social awareness and community development.

All participating principals assured the Vice-Chancellor that they would comply with the instructions and complete the required preparations within the stipulated timeline.
